Influence of synthesized (green) cerium oxide nanoparticle with neem (Azadirachta indica) oil biofuel

ABSTRACT. Energy demand increases day by due to the present technological scenario and fossil fuels are also depleting gradually. Therefore, necessity came into researchers identify an alternative renewable resource for compensating energy demand. The biodiesel appeared as important its characteristics ability compensate However, some additional improvements required efficient performance of biodiesel, such improvement is achievable blending additive with biodiesel. study predominantly focuses investigate two different additives cerium oxide nanoparticles ethanol. neem (Azadirachta indica) oil has been selected feed stock. prepared using green synthesis process. Four various fuel samples examine effect additives, (i) PB (pure biodiesel), (ii) BCe (PB+100 ppm CeO2), (iii) BE (90% biodiesel+10% ethanol) (iv) BCeE biodiesel+100 CeO2+10% ethanol). From experimentation, it observed that achieves better oxygen buffering in atomization additives.
